Installation Guide
Works in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (CC 2015 and later) on Windows and macOS.
Download the ZXP
After purchase, download the BarcodeGenerator.zxp installer from your Gumroad library (app.gumroad.com/library). Keep your license key from the same receipt email.
Install the ZXP
Open Anastasiy’s Extension Manager or ZXPInstaller, drag in the .zxp file, and click Install. The package is signed, so no registry edits or debug-mode flags are needed on current Creative Cloud versions.
Restart your Adobe app
Fully quit and reopen Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign (CC 2015 or later) on Windows or macOS so it picks up the new panel.
Open the panel
Go to Window > Extensions > Barcode Generator. The panel docks like any other extension panel.
Activate once
Enter your Gumroad license key when prompted. Activation needs internet once to reach the license server (allow outbound HTTPS to api.gumroad.com if you are behind a strict firewall).
Work offline
After activation the extension runs fully offline — generation, batch, and export never send your data anywhere. It re-verifies the license when you are back online, with a 30-day grace period.
Troubleshooting
The panel does not appear under Window > Extensions
Restart the Adobe app completely, then reinstall the ZXP and restart again. Confirm the app is CC 2015 or later and that you installed the ZXP for the current user.
Activation fails or hangs
Connect to the internet and retry. On locked-down networks, allow outbound HTTPS to api.gumroad.com:443 or ask IT to whitelist it, then activate again.
WEBP export throws an error
WEBP export is only supported in Photoshop. In Illustrator and InDesign, export SVG, JPG, or PNG instead.
Batch file will not load
Use CSV, TSV, TXT, XLSX, XLS, or ODS. Very large files can exceed the CEP bridge limit — split them into smaller files and run batch again.
